The wine was barrel aged for 8–10 months to obtain and deliver greater complexity and structure. Santa Ema Gran Reserva Carmenere is an intense red-violet color with extraordinary aromas of cherry, black pepper, and chocolate. On the palate it’s rounded with great structure and concentration. The friendly and fruity finish make it perfect for pastas, stewed meats, cheeses, and steamed vegetables. Chilean food like potato pie, chicken and corn pie, and empanadas.
